About Ms. Bright-Yellow

Jen

I’m Jen and I have always shared tips and tidbits (a trait I inherited from my mom) with friends and family.  Bright-Yellow gives me the chance to do this with a bigger audience – and to get great tips and tidbits from all of you!

I live in Evanston, IL where I help small businesses with their marketing needs (J Peterson Marketing) and enjoy being mama to “the cutest baby in the world” (who is now a toddler).  I also try to eat, drink and be merry without breaking the bank.

  1. Hi Jen,

I am Inez’s younger brother, living on the East Coast. She emailed me a link to your blog about italian water ice. I agree, watermelon makes for a delicious and refreshing flavor.

I would like to add you to my blogroll, okay? Feel free to reciprocate if so inclined. My weblog is http://www.thepighasacurlytail.wordpress.com

Also, a Chicago graphic designer, Erik Maldre, has a cool blog also at http://www.unlikelymoose.com/blog – very amusing!

    Take care!

  2. Hi Jen,

I hope you’ll read the blogs at http://cabriniblog.blogspot.com and devote some of your writing to telling the stories of tutoring and mentoring and Cabrini Connections. You have an extensive network and using your writing you can help us do more to help these kids.

My own blog is at http://tutormentor.blogspot.com. You can see how I use this to focus on strategies that help the entire city have tutor/mentor programs, which are strategies that would help Cabrini Connections, too.

If you write stories about CC let me know and we’ll post links in our own blogs back to you.

    Dan

  3. Jen,

I love the blog. I am a publicist for several Chicago bands. Shoot me an email so that I will know where to send info about upcoming shows, releases, etc.

    Cheers,

    August

  4. Hi Ms. Bright-yellow,
Thank you for posting information about Pretty Bird! We finished the year strong, with a nice tight line of Wearable Juju and great prospects for 2010. Thank you so much for your support!
